2. The Bahamas is promoting island hopping

3. Dominica is the BBC‘s top destination of 2025
Dominica, known as “the Nature Island of the Caribbean”, has been named as BBC Travel’s top destination to visit in 2025.
A little known fact is that it is home to the world’s second largest boiling lake. A new Dominica Cable Car to Boiling Lake will open towards the end of the year, eliminating the need for a five-hour hike to the top to see amazing panoramic views.
Finally, a major airport is under construction and is scheduled to open in 2027, and will allow clients to fly directly from Europe.
4. Agents get special rates with Elite Island Resorts

5. Guests in Bermuda can experience a multi-million dollar makeover

6. A brand new resort will debut soon in the Dominican Republic

Secrets St Lucia Resort and Spa, St Lucia’s largest adults-only all-inclusive resort, opened on June 1, while just a few days later, Hyatt’s first Inclusive Collection resort was opened in Aruba.

7. Foodies and sport lovers should head to the Bahamas
This summer, Baha Mar is hosting the Culinary and Arts Festival (October 22-26), Baha Mar Cup celebrity pro-am tennis tournament (December 11-14) and immersive Tablemation dining on Saturdays. While Margaritaville is debuting the ICONS at the Pointe entertainment complex.
Atlantis is introducing new dining spots such as Cocodrilo, Ko Sa Wan and Claudio’s, plus the return of The Magic of Rob Lake (until August 31) and the Battle 4 Atlantis college basketball tournament from November 26 to 28.
8. Several Caribbean hotels have been endorsed by Tripadvisor
Four of SunGroup Hotels properties have received the 2025 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award: Bel Jou Hotel on St Lucia as well as Savannah Beach Club, Sugar Cane Hotel and Spa and the Time Out Hotel in Barbados.
Plus, Casa de Campo Resort and Villas‘s famed Teeth of the Dog course is undergoing a $13 million renovation and will reopen in January 2026.
9. Sandals has big plans for new openings
A slew of new openings for the brand will include a new Treasure Beach village at Beaches Turks and Caicos in the spring of 2026. Further development plans include Beaches Resorts in Barbados, Exuma in The Bahamas, and in Jamaica.
For clients looking to tie the knot, let them know that there’s a new overwater wedding chapel seating up to 64 guests at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island in Nassau, The Bahamas. 10. Travel never sleeps with a new online booking portal
