The operator is introducing new tours to attract trade engagement

Red Savannah is going big on art, music and culture as it bids to attract more trade bookings. Currently around 15% of the operator’s bookings come via travel agents.

The luxury operator is introducing the destinations of South Korea and Malta for the first time, plus new itineraries in Mexico and Java, in the hope of drawing in agents with adventurous clients.

Four tailor-made tours make up its new South Korea programme, with the business claiming it has seen requests for the country double in the last year amid growing interest among younger travellers in the so-called ‘Korean Wave’, which has promoted its cuisine, K-pop music, the K-beauty style movement and the K-drama cinema scene.

Tours featured include a seven-day Essential South Korea option pairing Seoul and Busan, a longer 12-day Classic South Korea private tour by road and bullet train, a 10-day Taste of South Korea option focused on exploring the nation’s food, and an in-depth two-week private guided trip.

Elsewhere, the addition of Malta brings two new tours – a four-day long weekend stay in Valletta and a six-day classic trip taking in the capital, the history of Mdina and Hal Saflieni Gypogeum, a coastal cruise including the Blue Grotto and a food and wine experience.

The new 12-day Java Islands and Highlands Java tour makes the most of a new direct flight from Yogyakarta to the Karimunjawa Archipelago, which now makes it easier than ever to combine this inland adventure with time on white-sand beaches.

In Mexico, the new In the Footsteps of Freida Kahlo tour aims to capitalise on expected interest in the famed artist thanks to a new exhibition of her work at the Tate Modern planned for June 2026.

The bespoke 12-day journey offers immersive access to the most significant sites in Frida’s Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Tehuantepec, including after-hours VIP entry to La Casa Azul and the Diego Rivera Mural Museum. Guests will explore Frida’s life and her style influences through intimate experiences such as traditional weaving and cooking with a Zapotec family, mezcal tastings at authentic local venues, and a specially curated Frida-inspired dinner.

Prices lead in at £2,500pp for the Valetta long weekend, rising to £14,300pp for the two-week South Korea private tour.
