Three DMCs from the South Caucasus and Central Asia are collaborating to expand B2B offerings to European tour operators.
Nueva Vista DMC (Armenia), Living Roots (Georgia), and SISO Travel (Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan) are now working together, making it easier for international operators to access and package the region, while still continuing to offer bespoke, locally crafted services.
Interest in the region is on the rise, with travellers increasingly seeking ‘second wave’ destinations beyond Western Europe.
The new partnership is developing joint products for autumn and 2025/26, combining Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan with Central Asia extensions.
Georgia is renowned as the birthplace of wine, with opportunities to visit vineyards and taste local specialoties, across the country. It is also home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the historical cities of Mtskheta and Kutaisi, and the ancient monastery of Vardzia.
Armenia is ideal for clients seeking the outdoor life, with its vast mountain landscapes, Dilijan National Park, nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine meadows, and Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the country.
While Azerbaijan’s cuisine is a blend of East and West, with numerous cooking schools and local cafes ready to be explored. Popular regional dishes include plov (pilaf), dolma, kebabs and flatbreads.
The focus remains on immersive, small group and tailor-made experiences – from culinary trails in Tbilisi and Yerevan to Silk Road routes across Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Each DMC works closely with local communities, using home stays, and supporting social enterprise. Nueva Vista DMC is a founding member of the NGO Sustainable Tourism Development in Armenia and focusses on conservation and community development.
