Olympic Holidays has expanded its Dodecanese offering with the addition of Astypalaia, positioning the island as a quieter alternative to high-density hubs like Kos and Rhodes.
The destination is accessible via a two-hour ferry from Kos or a one-hour domestic flight from Athens, making it suitable for both standalone stays and island-hopping packages. Key agent selling points include Chora’s Venetian hilltop castle, traditional tavernas, and secluded beaches like Kaminakia and Livadi.
The operator is also highlighting the island’s sustainability credentials, driven by Astybus, an app-based, on-demand electric minibus network operating across the island during peak summer months.
To support the launch, Olympic Holidays has introduced a range of featured accommodation options, led by the adults-only Chrysalis Boutique Hotel, Kallichoron Houses, and the Astypalaia Palace Hotel.

Lead-in rates for seven-night packages at Chrysalis Boutique Hotel start from £792 per person, which includes return flights from London Luton to Kos, ferry crossings plus local transfers.
Meanwhile, seven-night stays at Kallichoron Houses start from £524pp and the Astypalaia Palace Hotel starts from £682pp, with both packages featuring flights out of London Stansted alongside all ferry connections.
To capture higher-value multi-centre bookings, the specialist has also added two dedicated island-hopping itineraries to its list of tours. A new seven-night option combines three nights in Kos with four nights in Astypalaia from £1,037pp, while the comprehensive 13-night Aegean Butterfly route spans Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, and Astypalaia, with prices starting from £1,371pp.
