Flash Pack has unveiled its latest collection of adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s, featuring seven brand-new destinations.

Available to book now, the new trips include journeys through Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Uzbekistan – destinations rich in cultural heritage, ancient traditions and natural beauty. The itineraries promise immersive experiences, from closed-door wellness rituals to monastery hopping through centuries-old landscapes.

Highlights include:

  • Nomadic Kyrgyzstan‘ (nine days from £2,120pp): Travellers can raft through the dramatic Chon-Kemin gorge, witness the centuries-old hunting tradition of Salburun with golden eagles and Taigan sighthounds, and ride on horseback through alpine valleys and grasslands before bedding down in a mix of boutique stays and yurt camps.
  • Timeless Armenia‘ (seven days from £1,400pp): The adventure begins with a rare welcome dinner at the Lusik Aguletsi House-Museum. Guests will sip homemade liqueur in the home of a former TV host, and learn to bake traditional flatbread in a tonir oven alongside local women keeping age-old traditions alive.
  • Uzbekistan Through Time‘ (nine days from £1,830pp): A Silk Road gem, Uzbekistan offers ornate Islamic architecture, historic cities and desert scenery. Highlights include crafting a folkloric puppet with local artisans and enjoying a traditional lunch with folk music and dancing inside a restored madrasa.

The three destinations are growing in popularity as tourism hotspots. Armenia, bordered by Iran and Turkiye, is famous for its ancient monasteries like Geghard and Tatev, the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, Lake Sevan, dramatic mountain landscapes, and Yerevan with its Soviet-era architecture and views of Mount Ararat.

Further east and located below Kahzakstan, Uzbekistan is known for the Silk Road cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, populated by mosques and madrasahs, vibrant bazaars, and desert fortresses.

While its neighbour, Kyrgyzstan, is renowned for alpine scenery, Issyk-Kul Lake (one of the world’s largest high-altitude lakes), traditional nomadic culture with yurts and horseback games, and the imposing Tian Shan mountains.

Lee Thompson, Co-founder and CMO of Flash Pack, said: “These new off-radar trips are all about moving beyond the everyday and discovering places few have experienced. From exploring the ancient Silk Road cities of Uzbekistan, to following nomadic traditions in Kyrgyzstan, or soaking up the timeless beauty of Armenia, each adventure is designed to bring together like-minded travellers in a shared sense of curiosity and discovery.”

The launch of these trips is timely, as research shows that 63% of consumers are likely to visit a low-key locale as more tourists “hunt for the less crowded and less well-known”, according to Expedia.
