G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have announced the launch of a new joint initiative: National Geographic Signature with G Adventures.
For travel agents, the new collection offers a major opportunity to reach the growing market of socially conscious luxury travellers. “These new trips allow agents to offer their most discerning clients an experience that satisfies both their intellectual curiosity and their desire to contribute positively to the world,” said Bruce Poon Tip, Founder of G Adventures.
Bookings will open in January 2026, with the first departures scheduled for January 2027. The new style of travel will draw on National Geographic’s legacy of education and exploration, paired with G Adventures’ role in community tourism. Each itinerary will offer travellers access to world-class experts and immersive cultural encounters.
Launching with 29 curated trips, destinations include South Africa (pictured), Vietnam, Japan, Central Asia, Peru, and Jordan. Each journey will feature ‘Signature Moments’, such as behind-the-scenes access to museums, historic sites, or extraordinary dining locations, alongside cultural immersion and handpicked high-end accommodations.
The new Signature collection places equal emphasis on impact. From supporting local artisans and experts to prioritising locally owned luxury properties, the trips are designed to benefit communities while delivering the premium quality and service affluent travellers expect.
Poo Tip added: “National Geographic Signature with G Adventures is about so much more than just high-end accommodations.
“These trips offer transformational adventures, with lasting benefit for both travellers and the communities they visit. With a legacy dating back over 135 years, National Geographic is one of the most respected brands in the world, and it’s an honour to work together to change how people view luxury travel.”
Each National Geographic Signature with G Adventures departure will be led by an expert Expedition Leader and include educational talks, a maximum group size of 22, concierge support, private transportation, and immersive cultural experiences.
