Rainbow Tours has introduced a new 24-page brochure dedicated to Madagascar, featuring two new twin-centre itineraries for 2027 alongside enhanced existing trips.

This is in response to increased demand for holidays combining two contrasting destinations in one trip, with the new itineraries pairing Madagascar, the fourth-largest in the world, with South Africa and Réunion Island.

The 14-night South Africa Big Five Safari and Madagascar Lemurs itinerary starts with four nights at the five-star boutique Tintswalo Waterfall, and includes game drives in Welgevonden Game Reserve, before eight nights exploring Madagascar’s wildlife and a final beach stay on Nosy Sakatia. Prices start from £7,195pp sharing, including flights.

The 18-night Madagascar and Réunion Island itinerary combines Madagascar’s forests, baobabs and Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park with Réunion’s volcanic landscapes, mountain trails, waterfalls and villages. The holiday ends with a beach stay, including a hire car and helicopter ride. Prices start from £7,075pp sharing, including flights.

The new twin-centre options join Rainbow’s established Madagascar and Mauritius itinerary, with a Madagascar and Seychelles combination also due to launch.

The brochure highlights Madagascar by region, with sections covering experiences, accommodation and wildlife. Four pages are dedicated to the island’s species and biodiversity, while another focuses on Money for Madagascar, a charity supporting community-led projects addressing food insecurity, habitat loss, healthcare and education. Rainbow donates to the charity for every Madagascar booking.

Rainbow’s wider Madagascar programme comprises 16 bespoke and small-group trips. These include the 15-night Madagascar Wildlife Discovery small-group tour, from £5,675pp (sharing), including flights, which has been updated with an internal flight to reduce driving times.

Other itineraries include Madagascar Reef and Rainforest and Madagascar Rainforests, Wildlife, Tsingy and Beach, both of which can be tailored according to budget and preferences.

The new brochure is available online, with print copies available to order. Agents can also access images and itinerary assets through ITC’s free online toolkit.
