Virgin Voyages has launched a short-term promotion offering guests up to $500 Bar Tab on all voyages, as part of a wider combinable package aimed at driving summer bookings.

The offer runs from July 1 to 6 2026 and can be combined with the line’s free balcony upgrade campaign, which is available on new bookings made until July 31 2026.

The promotion applies across the full fleet, including Scarlet Lady, Resilient Lady, Valiant Lady and Brilliant Lady, covering itineraries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, USA’s West Coast and Alaska.

SJ Walker, UK Director of Sales at Virgin Voyages, said: “We know our First Mates love it when we bring back our free drinks offer, and with up to $500 Bar Tab now combinable with 70% off the second Sailor and a free balcony upgrade, this is a really compelling booking window.

“It adds another layer of value to our adults-only experience, giving First Mates a strong, time-sensitive reason to follow up with clients and get those summer bookings over the line.”

A sample sailing on Scarlet Lady includes a nine-night Italy and French Riviera itinerary departing Rome on August 22 2026. The voyage calls at Catania, Pompeii/Capri, Ajaccio, Cannes and Florence/Pisa, with fares from £1,505pp for a Sea Terrace cabin.

Pandaw announces shorter Hooghly river cruises in India

Pandaw Cruises has introduced new three- and four-night cruises on India’s Hooghly River, giving travel agents and tour operators more flexibility when building tailor-made holidays.

The new itineraries begin and end in Kolkata and are designed to be combined with destinations including Delhi, Agra, Rajasthan, Darjeeling, Assam and Kerala, offering an alternative to the line’s longer week-long river expeditions.

Guests can choose between a three-night upstream voyage or a four-night downstream sailing, with excursions taking in Bengal’s terracotta temples, traditional brass workshops and the former capital of Murshidabad.

Yves Van Kerrebroeck, Commercial Director at Pandaw Cruises, said: “Guests are increasingly combining places like Rajasthan, Darjeeling, Assam or Kerala into one journey, and they’re looking for experiences that fit naturally between those destinations. Our new Hooghly itineraries make that possible, giving travel advisors and DMCs a flexible river cruise product that adds a completely different dimension to a wider India holiday.”

He added that the shorter departures had been developed in response to feedback from the company’s destination management company partners, making it easier to introduce river cruising without requiring travellers to commit to a full week on board.
