The adults-only cruise line will offer six sailings between July and September 2028, ranging from seven to 12 nights and featuring 15 maiden ports. The itineraries include four roundtrip Northern Europe voyages from Amsterdam, as well as two Western Europe itineraries between Barcelona and Amsterdam.
SJ Walker, UK Director of Sales, Virgin Voyages said: “Virgin Voyages has really built its name within the Med and the Caribbean. We’ve most recently pushed ourselves into Alaska and the West Coast, which has been really strong for us. Northern Europe will be our next move.
“Valiant Lady will begin that inaugural season, covering Scandinavia and the Baltics in summer 2028, and we’ll be operating from our brand-new home port of Amsterdam.”
The season will include a 12-night Scandinavia and Stockholm itinerary, departing Amsterdam on July 19, calling at Oslo, Copenhagen, Gdynia for Gdansk, Stockholm with an overnight stay, Warnemünde for Berlin and Aarhus.
Other highlights include a seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailing departing on July 31, visiting Molde, Nordfjordeid, Flåm and Bergen, and an 11-night Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjords voyage departing on August 14. The latter will visit Bergen, Tromsø, Honningsvåg, Trondheim, Åndalsnes and Olden, with Valiant Lady crossing the Arctic Circle during the voyage.
The cruise line will also offer two Western Europe sailings, including a 10-night Barcelona to Amsterdam itinerary departing on July 9, calling at Casablanca, Lisbon (with an overnight stay), La Coruña and Cherbourg. A second sailing will depart Amsterdam for Barcelona on August 25, visiting Cherbourg, La Coruña, Lisbon (with an overnight stay) and Tangier.
UK travel agents booking customers onto any of the six sailings will also be eligible for a First Mate incentive. Each qualifying booking made between August 13 and September 30, 2026 will enter agents into a prize draw to win a place on one of the voyages, while bookings will also earn double First Mate Loot worth £10 per Scandinavia and Baltics booking.

Virgin Voyages will also introduce a Summer Season Pass covering four consecutive Amsterdam roundtrip voyages departing between July 19 and 14 August. The package includes a Central Sea Terrace cabin for two guests, onboard drinks credit, dining reservations access, a complimentary shore excursion per voyage, WiFi upgrades, laundry service, spa access and priority boarding.
Pass holders will also receive a Nordic-themed welcome package featuring items including aquavit, Scandinavian chocolate, a jacket, city guides, a water bottle, portable power bank and backpack.
Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages, said: “One of the things that’s most exciting about seeing more sailors come back to us year after year is that it gives us the confidence to keep expanding into new parts of the world.
“Northern Europe felt like the right next step, and we’ve built these voyages around the kinds of experiences that make people fall in love with a destination, from the fjords and Baltic capitals to sailing beneath the midnight sun.”
All sailings include access to more than 20 eateries, WiFi, essential drinks, group fitness classes and onboard entertainment.
Bookings open for travel agents on August 13, 2026 at 05.00, however priority on that day will be given to First Mates. General bookings will be available from August 14.
