Visit Galveston, Visit Lauderdale and Travel Nevada are the first three destinations to feature in Visit USA’s 2026 programme of webinars.
The weekly 30-minute online presentations, which run most Tuesdays at 14.00, update agents on key selling points, tips and news to enhance their destination knowledge.
They feature a new member each week – a state, region, attraction, transport operator, accommodation provider or tour operator.
This week (January 20) Visit Galveston highlighted the attractions of the Texas coastal city, which is a great option for a pre-or post-cruise stopover.
Just 38 miles from Houston’s Hobby Airport and 31 miles from NASA’s Space Center Houston, Galveston Island is the fourth-busiest cruise port in the U.S.
Agents discovered how this historic barrier island blends Southern charm with seaside culture, offering 32 miles of beaches, Victorian architecture and early Texas history whose story is told through its museums, mansions and guided tours.

And on January 27, Visit Lauderdale will highlight a destination made up of over 30 communities. Known as the ‘Venice of America’ and ‘Yachting Capital of the World’, it has eight distinct beaches, around 4,000-plus eateries, 300-plus miles of navigable waterways, a thriving arts and culture scene, craft breweries, outdoor adventures and world-class shopping.

Travel Nevada (February 3) will enthuse agents to encourage their clients to venture beyond Las Vegas, on a road trip to discover the Silver State’s many attractions such as Wild West ghost towns, sagebrush saloons, parks and wildlands and historic- communities.
Says Kate Kenward, Visit USA CEO: “Our Visit USA UK webinars are a favourite amongst the trade, with many travel agents tuning in week after week.
“We welcome agents and tour operators as well as anyone who just wants to find out about an area of the USA – you don’t have to be a member of Visit USA UK to register.”
Recent episodes have featured Portland, Rocky Mountaineer’s Canyon Spirit, JetBlue, St. Pete-Clearwater, Florida, Oklahoma City, New York City and Missouri.
These and other previous webinars can be found in a ‘library’, which anyone can access on Visit USA’s website page.
