
Visitors to Miami in search of some local cuisine and a rejuvenating wellness treatment can take advantage of special offers available under two big incentive schemes run by the Florida destination’s tourism authority.
Miami Spa Month, back for its 18th year, continues until August 31 while the 24th running of Miami Spice Restaurant Month runs through to September 30.
Miami Spice invites guests to enjoy prix-fixe, three-course menus while saving a minimum of 30% at more than 300 participating restaurants in 20 neighbourhoods across Greater Miami and Miami Beach.
Lunch and brunch menus are priced at £26 and dinner menus from £33-£44.
Several of Miami’s Michelin-starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants have returned to Miami Spice, including Stubborn Seed and Cote Miami. Also featured is Michelin-recommended Beauty and the Butcher in Coral Gables, where guests can experience a menu showcasing top chef Jeremy Ford’s signature bold flavours and refined technique.
First-time participants include Uchi in Wynwood; Andrés Carne de Res, serving Colombian cuisine, on Lincoln Road; Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay; Ghee Indian Kitchen; and Cleo, offering a modern take on Eastern Mediterranean cooking.
The Miami Spice programme supports Camillus House, a local nonprofit providing services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Guests will find a QR code on all Miami Spice menus, encouraging donations, and the first cumulative donation of £18,681 made by Miami Spice patrons will be matched by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors’ Bureau (GMCVB).
Miami Spa Month spotlights the region’s world-class hotel, day and medical spas, offering exclusive access to limited-time treatments designed to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.
Wellness treatments and therapies at more than 30 participating spas across the destination are available at prices 40%-50% lower than regular service rates. Tier 1 treatments cost £81, Tier 2 is £119 while Tier 3 is priced at £148.
New additions to the Miami Spa Month programme include Hurrem Hammam Wellness and Spa in North Miami, where guests are invited to immerse themselves in traditional Turkish bathing rituals.
In Miami Beach, Ondara Spa’s night-to-day programme allows guests to rejuvenate with innovative eco-luxury treatments. Coral Gables’ new Toska Spa and Facial Bar, by celebrity aesthetician Toska Husted, offers customised facials and other therapies.
Kimpton Epic Hotel’s Privai Spa in Downtown Miami delivers an affordable high-impact treatment with its 50-minute Babor Ultimate Lifting, Anti-Ageing and Brightening Facial (Tier 1).
The Palms Aveda Spa in Miami Beach Intense Hydrating Facial and Eye Treatment and LED Therapy with Resort Access is a Tier 2 option. The 75-minute Vitamin C Facial, LED Light Therapy and Gua Sha Face Massage at mySpa at the InterContinental Miami in Downtown is a Tier 3 treatment. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, South Beach, is offering a Tier2 Art Deco Manicure and Pedicure.
