OurAfrica.Travel has confirmed that its next virtual trade show will take place from February 22-26, 2027, with registration now open for both exhibitors and buyers.
The organisers are encouraging the trade to save the dates, with expressions of interest now being accepted via the event website.
The announcement follows another successful edition of the virtual trade show, held from March 16-21, 2026, which brought together 212 exhibitors, 442 buyers and 36 members of the media.
The event generated 23,402 messages, 21,426 business connections and 7,861 meetings across the platform, alongside more than 20 news stories shared during the week.
Exhibitors represented destinations across Africa and the Indian Ocean, including South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Uganda, Mozambique, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Madagascar, Malawi, Seychelles and the Maldives.
Buyers attended from key source markets including the UK, USA, Australia, the Netherlands, Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, Brazil, India, Germany, Spain, Italy and Mexico.
The 2026 edition also expanded its focus on community and conservation through a partnership with Africa’s Eden. Following nominations and voting, Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust in Zambia received the conservation award, while Uthando (Love) South Africa was recognised for community impact with cash donations from OurAfrica.Travel.
The organisers said details of the 2027 early bird exhibitor packages will be released shortly, while accommodation prize winners from the 2026 event will be announced via social media.
