Journeyscape has an expanded collection of immersive excursions across Canada, designed to bring travellers closer to the country’s extraordinary landscapes, wildlife and Indigenous cultures.
From the rugged Pacific coastline to the glacier‑carved Rockies and the maritime charm of the Atlantic provinces, the new experiences showcase the best of Canada’s vast and varied wilderness.
The curated adventures span British Columbia, Alberta, Québec, Ontario and the Atlantic provinces, and offer travellers the chance to explore the country in meaningful, memorable ways.
“Canada is one of the world’s most diverse and awe‑inspiring destinations,” says Dominique Kotsias Product Manager for Journeyscape.
“Our new excursions are designed to help travellers experience the country beyond the postcard views — connecting with local communities, exploring lesser‑known regions and discovering the stories that make Canada so unique.
“Each excursion has been handpicked for its authenticity, expert local guiding and ability to reveal the stories behind Canada’s most iconic regions”.
Highlights of the new Canada excursions include wildlife encounters on Vancouver Island which sees travellers join expert naturalists for bear‑watching, whale‑spotting and coastal wilderness exploration in one of Canada’s richest wildlife habitats. A whale‑watching tour in Clayoquot Sound offers the opportunity to see grey whales, humpbacks, orcas, sea lions, porpoises, seals and otters.
Also in British Columbia, guests visiting the both Great Bear Rainforest and Knight Inlet Lodge enjoy multiple days of guided wildlife excursions, including: grizzly bear viewing from hides, platforms and boats; bear‑tracking outings with expert guides; Canopy walks and cruises to view and photograph bears and other wildlife from the water.

Journeyscape’s Rocky Mountain adventures offer excursions that immerse travellers in the dramatic landscapes of the Canadian Rockies, such as guided hikes through Banff and Jasper National Parks and glacier experiences on the Columbia Icefield.
The operator also features Indigenous‑led cultural experiences led by Indigenous guides. These offer insights into First Nations traditions, storytelling and deep connections to the land. Options include a hands‑on culinary experience led by indigenous hosts on Vancouver Island where travellers learn about traditional food harvesting, local ingredients and coastal First Nations food culture while preparing dishes in a forest or shoreline setting.
There are also opportunities to learn about Indigenous stewardship and traditions on the Yukon Wildlife Experiences – First Nations Lands tour.
While not always guided exclusively by Indigenous hosts, many wildlife and cultural experiences in the Yukon take place on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün, Ta’an Kwäch’än.
Québec’s rich culinary and cultural scene is showcased through food‑focused walking tours, historic neighbourhood explorations and river cruises that reveal the charm and creativity of Montréal and Québec City.
And Atlantic Canada’s coastal wonders are profiled with whale‑watching trips, lighthouse trails and maritime heritage tours that show off the rugged beauty of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Added Product Manager Kotsias: “Journeyscape’s Canada excursions are designed to be seamlessly combined with tailor‑made itineraries, allowing travellers to build a personalised journey that suits their interests, pace and travel style.
“Whether it’s a once‑in‑a‑lifetime wildlife encounter, a scenic rail journey or a deep dive into local culture, each experience is crafted to offer depth, authenticity and a strong sense of place.”
An 11-day holiday exploring the Great Bear Rainforest on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, with time in Victoria and Tofino for whale watching and kayaking, starts from £5,880pp.
