Tourism to Brazil is on the rise with 4.8 million foreign travellers having visited the destination in the first five months of 2025, up 49.7% compared to the same period in 2024 when arrivals hit 3.2 million.
British tourists to Brazil increased by more than 20,000 in 2024, reaching 153,754, compared to 130,239 the previous year.
Clients wishing to add to the destination’s tourist numbers, can take advantage of a new promotion from TAP Air Portugal, which is offering return fares to 13 destinations in Brazil starting from as little as £426.
Running until June 30, the offer is valid for flights departing between September 1, 2025 and March 30, 2026.
Those travelling between the UK and Brazil will also receive a 10% discount when purchasing extra baggage and a 15% discount on lounge access (at available airports).
TAP Air Portugal flies directly from Lisbon to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife, Salvador, Florianópolis and Manaus.
British Airways also offers direct flights from London Heathrow to several destinations across Brazil.
Visitors can enjoy Oktoberfest in the small town of Blumenau near Brazil’s Southern Atlantic coast, São Paulo’s Grand Prix in November, Christmas and New Year celebrations across the country, Salvador’s Festa do Bonfim in January and the world-famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival in February.
