American Cruise Lines (ACL) is planning its biggest-ever programme of Alaska cruises in 2025.
The company will have two small ships in the state operating five itineraries on sailings starting in May and running through to September.
ACL has repositioned small ship American Constitution to the West Coast for summer Alaska cruises and spring and fall Puget Sound cruises.
Doubling capacity in the region, the 170-passenger American Constitution joins sister ship American Constellation to sail in Alaska, including two new Alaska National Parks cruises.
These include a seven-day cruise in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks; a nine- or 12-day cruise between Fairbanks and Juneau, and special small-ship access in Glacier Bay National Park.

Both American Constellation and American Constitution are fully stabilised and feature private balcony accommodations and onboard amenities from spacious top-deck lounges to alternate casual dining venues.
All itineraries offer included Pre-Cruise stays and a range of experiences featuring up-close views of Alaskan glaciers and wildlife.
CL’s cruises enjoy small-ship access to Glacier Bay National Park, with some sailings also including a rare overnight in this world-renowned biosphere.
The nine-day Southeast Alaska cruise includes Pre-Cruise and sails round-trip from Juneau, visiting Haines, Glacier Bay National Park, Petersburg, Wrangell, Tracy Arm/Sawyer Glacier, and the Wrangell Narrow.
A 19-day option, Grand Alaska National Parks, includes seven days of guided exploration in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks.
A 12-day Alaska cruise, including Pre-Cruise, sails Glacier Bay National Park, the Inside Passage, Frederick Sound and the Wrangell Narrows. The cruise visits Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seward, Juneau, Haines, Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangell and Tracey Arm.
