Cunard’s world experiences for 2027
Cunard has released its standout shore experiences for its 2027 World Voyages, offering a range of options to discover some of the world’s most iconic destinations.
In January 2027, Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will embark on her maiden voyage to South America, while Queen Victoria will set sail on a Full World Voyage.
Together, the two ships will offer more than 590 curated shore experiences across some of the world’s most captivating destinations.
Experiences for those sailing on Queen Anne’s 90-night South America Discovery Voyage, with15 maiden calls across the continent including to Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina, will share an intimate dinner with a local family in Buenos Aires, enjoy a four-day overland adventure to Machu Picchu and an authentic tango performance.
Guests on Queen Victoria’s Full World Voyage, taking in Hong Kong, Sydney and Cape Town, can look forward to a Grand Tour to enjoy the sights of Hong Kong before a Cantonese lunch and a sunset harbour cruise, climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge at sunset, visiting the vineyards of the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest commercial wine-growing district, and ascending Table Mountain Cape Town by cable car.
Both voyages will depart Southampton on January 10, 2027,

Norwegian Aura to debut with host of new concepts
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced details of Norwegian Aura, its newest and largest ship to date, ahead of its inaugural voyage in May 2027.
The Prima Plus Class ship will introduce several new features, including a two-deck thermal suite within Mandara Spa featuring 15 wellness amenities, a Sensory Rain Pool, Snow Cave, Blue Glow suite and hot and cold plunge pools.
Tamara will become NCL’s first Indian specialty restaurant, serving North Indian-inspired dishes alongside open-view tandoor ovens.
The Panorama Room will offer a reimagined complimentary dining experience using floor-to-ceiling LED displays, multi-channel audio and dynamic lighting.
The ship will also feature expanded versions of Le Bistro, Onda by Scarpetta and Cagney’s Steakhouse, alongside a Penrose Bar and Atrium with more than double its original seating capacity.
For families, Ocean Heights will offer six slides, an 82-foot ropes course and NCL’s first overhanging cabanas overlooking Vibe Beach Club.
Norwegian Aura will sail its seven-day Mediterranean maiden voyage from Trieste to Barcelona on May 21, 2027 before repositioning to Miami for Caribbean itineraries.
Ambassador confirms 2027 solar eclipse cruise
Ambassador Cruise Line has confirmed a 19-night Mediterranean Moments and Solar Eclipse sailing aboard Ambition, departing Dundee on July 27, 2027.
The adults-only, no-fly cruise will give guests the opportunity to witness the total solar eclipse in Gibraltar on August 2, 2027, with around four and a half minutes of totality expected.
The sailing will visit Portugal and Spain, including Almería, Alicante, Valencia, Ibiza, Cadiz and Vigo, before returning to Dundee on August 15.
The cruise follows the Ambassador Group’s dedicated sailings for the August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse, when its ships operated itineraries timed around the event.
