Guests can enjoy a host of new attractions in Ottawa, from accessible riding and hotel openings to haunted walks.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, bike tours & rentals company Escape Tours has introduced an accessible cargo bike.
Not only is this adaptive bike suitable for those with mobility requirements, but parents with children can enjoy it too.
Features include an adjustable cockpit for riders from 5’1 to 6’5, powerful and responsive hydraulic disc brakes and a heavy-duty frame-integrated rear rack. It also includes integrated lower decks.
Saunders Farm has announced the debut of the Sawmill Haunt, which was previously featured at Lansdowne.
The haunting experience will begin on-site at the A Midsummer Night’s Dream Scream event, running on August 9 and 10 from 6-10pm. It will be a key feature at the fair’s annual FrightFest from September 21 to October 31.
New hotel openings are also on the horizon. AC Marriott Ottawa is due to open in autumn 2024, while Moxy Marriott Ottawa is slated for spring 2025. Renaissance Ottawa, meanwhile, is scheduled to open in autumn 2027.
