Wendy Wu Tours has unveiled a trade campaign – which will include the chance to win a fam trip place – to coincide with the return of Race Across the World to TV screens.
The BBC show features a 14,000km marathon through China, Nepal and India, and Wendy Wu is offering ‘Partner Flies Free’ (worth up to £700 per couple) on selected group tours to China and India in 2025 and 2026. In addition, solo travellers receive half-price flights on the same tours. The launch offer is valid until June 20, 2025.
To support the launch, Business Development Managers are visiting agencies across the country with campaign merchandise, sales tools, and the chance to win one of 10 places on a China mega fam trip in October. Prizes will go to the best dressed shop windows and most engaging social media posts.
The competition will run for the duration of the Race Across the World series: agents are encouraged to contact their Wendy Wu Tours BDM for full details.
Gary King, Head of Trade Sales, Wendy Wu Tours, said: “Enquiries for travel to both China and India’s Golden Triangle in March and April 2025 have soared compared to the same period last year – up 127% and 300% respectively.
“With Race Across the World bringing these iconic destinations into living rooms across the nation, it’s clear that TV-inspired travel is turning into real-world bookings at an incredible pace.”
