Win a ‘perfect proposal’ with Trafalgar Travel

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Trafalgar Travel has launched a romantic competition for guests planning to propose.

Travellers on Trafalgar tours in 2024 are invited to submit an application for the chance to win a fully organised, top-secret proposal. The competition closes on February 29, coinciding with Trafalgar’s Big Tour Sale.

Highlights include a string quartet concert in Venice on the Italian Holiday tour, a hot air balloon in Cappadocia on the Highlights of Turkey tour or a trek to the foot of a volcano on the Hawaii Four Island Adventure tour.

To enter, guests must already be booked on a Trafalgar tour. They can apply via the tour operator’s blog or its official Instagram page. Trafalgar’s ‘romance experts’ and competition winners will be in touch to create a tailor-made proposal.

Kelly Jackson, Managing Director of TTC Tour Brands EMEA, said: “It may surprise you, but we have lots of people who propose on Trafalgar trips… and even some on-tour marriages. Not only do our organisers take the hassle out of a holiday — something that can drive many couples apart — we’re going the extra mile to bring one lucky couple closer together, forever. Now that’s how to tour differently!

“Craig and Graham from Australia have already showcased the romance a Trafalgar tour inspires. After getting engaged on a tour to Paris in 2022, they won a spot on the Trafalgar Unlocked Awards trip to the Balkans last year. Despite having a wedding planned at home, they tied the knot in an impromptu ceremony wedding in a vineyard near Dubrovnik, all organised by the Trafalgar Travel team.”
