Wild Frontiers urge travellers to ‘Adventure with Purpose’

Adventure tour operator Wild Frontiers has added a new collection of sustainable, community and conservation-focused itineraries.

The Adventure with Purpose collection aims to highlight responsible tourism efforts around the world, taking guests off the beaten track, opening up a world of wildlife protection and educational initiatives, community-run homestays and pioneering eco-lodges.

Highlights include the 15-day Adventure with Purpose: Nicaragua. This itinerary allows guests to travel well off the beaten track, staying in a series of sustainable lodges and hotels, as well as enjoying the hospitality of local homestays and local families.

Travellers will experience a side of Nicaragua that few visitors ever see. Learning first-hand about wildlife conservation, educational initiatives and projects that have been specifically set up to help local communities to better support themselves and enjoy the natural beauty of some of the country’s most remote national reserves.

The 15-day Adventure with Purpose: Namibia self-drive trip takes guests deep into the heart of one of Africa’s most visually striking and abundant landscapes, affording an opportunity to play a part in its conservation efforts.

Staying at some of the country’s most successful and remote private concessions, clients will have opportunities to enjoy some truly unforgettable wildlife encounters, such as seeking out black and white rhino, rare desert elephants and bottlenose dolphins.
