Wendy Wu Tours is collaborating with All Nippon Airways (ANA) to encourage travel agents to rethink how they sell Japan in a major campaign designed to showcase the country’s appeal beyond the traditional cherry blossom season.
Coinciding with the publication of Wendy Wu Tours’ 2026/27/28 Japan brochure, the new campaign highlights the experiences available and gives customers reasons to book with a range of exclusive offers.
Cherry blossom viewing peaks from late-March into May and remains an iconic travel experience. Yet Wendy Wu Tours believes Japan’s quieter seasons represent opportunities for the trade to sell seasonal landscapes, authentic cultural experiences, fewer crowds and excellent value.
In partnership with ANA, the tour operator is encouraging agents to broaden conversations with potential clients by showcasing Japan’s flower seasons, autumn foliage, cuisine and cultural experiences. Wendy Wu Tours’ fully escorted collection spans the country’s best-known highlights and lesser-explored regions, including Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku.
The campaign highlights ANA’s premium customer experience, with the airline operating daily non-stop flights between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda. ANA has held a SKYTRAX Five-Star rating for 13 consecutive years and is renowned for its exceptional Japanese hospitality and service.
The campaign features Wendy Wu Tours’ award-winning escorted collection, including best-selling itineraries such as Japan Uncovered, Hidden Japan: Spirit of Kyushu, Gems of Japan and Shikoku and Northern Japan: Secrets of Hokkaido which give agents a broader range of experiences to offer customers seeking classic highlights and more immersive journeys.

Incentives are available across the escorted touring programme for bookings made before July 31 2026.
The offers are combinable with Wendy Wu Tours’ Loyalty Club discounts, providing greater value for returning customers, and include:
- Free flights on selected Japan tours, saving customers up to £800 per person
- JapanPartner flies free on selected departures, saving up to £400 per person
- Half-price single supplements on selected group tours, saving solo travellers up to £1,095
- Solo savings of up to £800 across dedicated solo departures.
Gary King, Head of Trade Sales at Wendy Wu Tours, said: “Early summer brings spectacular flower displays, lush landscapes and comfortable touring temperatures, while autumn delivers breathtaking colours, incredible seasonal cuisine and a more relaxed visitor experience. These are experiences that many customers simply don’t realise exist.
“Working with ANA gives us a fantastic opportunity to challenge those perceptions and help our trade partners start different conversations with their customers. By showcasing Japan beyond its most famous season, we’re opening the door to even more sales opportunities throughout the year.
“We’ve also backed the campaign with some of our strongest Japan offers to date, giving agents another compelling reason to encourage customers to book now.”
