Visit USA is encouraging agents to sign up to its latest free webinar, which takes place next Tuesday, April 15 (14.00).

Norse Atlantic Airways will showcase its summer programme which will feature flights from London-Gatwick to U.S. cities New York, Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles.

Norse’s Head of Sales, Andrew Fish, said the webinar will educate travel bookers to book Norse with confidence.

“Agents will learn all about our product on our 787 Dreamliner aircraft, in both Economy and Premium, which boasts the largest seat in its class. All passengers aboard enjoy a range of amenities including extensive entertainment system, and inflight dining.

“I will also be emphasising that Norse is now available in the GDS and that net fares including tour operator fares are bookable through all main consolidator agents’

“In this current climate travel is expensive but at Norse we aim to bring affordable travel to people without losing any comfort whilst exceeding passengers’ expectations,” he added.

Made up of 30-minute sessions – a 20-minute presentation and 10 minutes of Q&As – the webinars are designed to improve agents’ destination and product knowledge.

Subsequent webinars booked for spring and summer will feature:

JetBlue (April 22)
Cruise America (April 29)
Port of Seattle (May 6)
Visit Pensacola (May 13)
Visit Houston (May 20)
Great American West (May 27)
Visit Baton Rouge (June 3)
Lake Tahoe (June 10)
Amtrak Vacations (June 24)
Daytona Beach (July 8)
Go City (July 15)
Utah (July 29)

New York State kicked off this year’s webinars earlier this month by showcasing its line-up of attractions, a session which attracted over 50 sign-ups.

“It was so good to see agents and operators who joined us for our webinars in the last quarter of 2024 returning again for this new series,” said Kate Kenward, CEO for Visit USA.

“On the feedback survey from participants, all rated the content, presenter, format, time and day of the webinar as “excellent/good”, which suggests we have got the right formula in place.

“One agent commented: ‘It was a ‘really good webinar with loads of ideas,’ while another noted: ‘we were presented with so much information that it could easily have lasted longer than half an hour’,” she added.

“Other remarks we have received from agents included: “I attend as many of the Visit USA webinars as I can. They are such great training tools to keep my knowledge up to date and to help me provide my customers with the best experience’.”

Added Kenward: “It takes agents just 30 minutes of their time to hear something new or to top up their USA ‘knowledge bank’.”
