Agents will have the chance to meet with 26 members, including Visit California, Universal Parks & Resorts, Utah, Cruise America, Louisiana, Travel Oklahoma, Colorado, Tennessee, United Airlines and more for an evening celebrating everything the USA has to offer.
The evening will kick off with an interactive game to get agents warmed up, followed by speed networking, a break for a buffet dinner and then the all important prize draw.
October 5 at the Tara Copthorne Kensington in London
October 6 at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester
Agents have the chance to win a holiday to the USA at each event. Up for grabs in London are two return tickets to Washington DC, Los Angeles or San Francisco courtesy of United Airlines, plus seven nights in a Cruise America RV. In Manchester, one lucky agent could walk away with two return tickets to Philadelphia, courtesy of Aer Lingus, as well as a three-night stay at the Aloft Philadelphia, (subject to terms & conditions).
A message from the States
“The USA is the number one long-haul destination for UK visitors, so we know demand is high and we want to help agents make the most of every booking opportunity,” said Tracy Thompson, Chair of Visit USA Association (UK) Events Committee. “A lot of travel agencies have been recruiting new staff, so it is important to actively support those selling the USA.”
Kate Kenward, The Visit USA UK Association’s new CEO, added: “The great travel ‘reconnection’ has started and we look forward to meeting our colleagues at our in-person events. There will be plenty of familiar icons to connect with along with some surprising new gems to discover.”
