Travelsphere has added three new itineraries for 2026: two new Royal Geographical Society (RGS) Collection tours and a tour in Albania.
The RGS Collection are itineraries that feature expert-led insights, an exclusive RGS tour booklet keepsake and co-branded luggage labels. A contribution from each booking supports the Society’s ongoing research and fieldwork.
The first RGS tour is the 18-day ‘Incredible India and Nepal: Culture, Wildlife & Ancient Wonders’ trip, visiting Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Nagarkot.
Highlights include sightseeing at the UNESCO World Heritage site Agra Fort, sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, trip to the sacred city of Varanasi, jeep safari in Chitwan National Park and a visit to one of Nepal’s most sacred stupas, the Boubbhanath Stupa.
The 21-day ‘Silk Road Adventure: The Five Stans’ takes in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Highlights include a traditional dinner with a local Dungan family in Karakol, guided explorations of the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, overnight stay at the Darvaza Gas Crater and access to RGS-curated materials about the history of the Silk Road.
Delving into the history and culture of Albania, the eight-day ‘Albania Discovered – Tirana and Beyond’ itinerary includes visits to Apollonia, the ‘museum city’ of Gjirokastra, UNESCO site Butrint and the historic villages of Lukova, Borsh and Qeparo.
Adam Kemp, Managing Director at Travelsphere, said: “We have worked closely with the RGS to build these new tours from the ground up, ensuring that our travellers can engage with destinations through the Society’s amazing insights.
“In addition, our new ‘Albania Discovered’ tour offers the opportunity to delve into the history, culture and vibrancy of the likes of the capital city, Tirana, to smaller mountain towns and villages.”
