Tourism Richmond debuts new agent training

Tourism Richmond is debuting a new Richmond Specialist Program. The free online training programme is designed to educate tour and travel trade on what Richmond in British Columbia has to offer visitors.

It teaches the city’s essential facts and diverse experiences, providing participants with the knowledge to promote Richmond as a travel destination.

Upon registering online, programme participants will have access to a number of training modules where they can learn at their own pace. At the end of the training programme, participants will receive a certificate to be a “Richmond Specialist”.

Nancy Small, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Richmond, said: “We want to take this opportunity to engage our tour and travel trade partners, to help them be the best ambassadors for Richmond, and speak knowledgeably about our destination to their clients.

“Whether the visitors are traveling solo, with family, or part of a group, we welcome them to Richmond and explore.”
