Journey Beyond is looking outside of Australia for the first time

Australia specialist Journey Beyond has expanded its portfolio with the company’s first acquisition outside of Australia.

Grand Pacific Tours, New Zealand’s leading coach touring company, will join Australia’s largest and leading experiential tourism group in September.

Formed in 1996, Grand Pacific Tours offer two distinct styles of coach travel: its Ultimate Small Group Tours showcase the best of New Zealand on its exclusive Business class coaches limited to 20 travellers.

Alternatively, the companies popular Signature Mid-Size group tours provide premium economy comfort onboard its custom designed 32-seater coaches.

The company has over 230 departures already planned for the season ahead, fully inclusive tours that have been curated to cover must-see experiences across New Zealand

Chris Tallent, Journey Beyond CEO said: “We are excited to welcome Grand Pacific Tours to Journey Beyond’s growing portfolio of iconic brands and experiences. This marks an exciting next phase of growth for us, further expanding our offerings of immersive, authentic and unique tourism experiences into New Zealand.”

Journey Beyond’s overnight rail tours include iconic trains The Ghan, Indian Pacific and Great Southern while tours are also offered by small-group outback operator Outback Spirit.

Grand Pacific Tours are available to book through UK and Ireland travel agents selling New Zealand; contact reservations@gptnz.com for any enquiries.
