Selling Travel’s inaugural Travel for Every Body Awards are now open for entries.
The awards will shine a light on the organisations and individuals who are working hard to improve the travel experience for those with a range of accessibility needs.
The deadline to submit is 5pm on Tuesday May 27 2025 and the 11 categories are:
Accessible Travel Initiative – Destination
Recognising a destination – country, region, city, resort or attraction – that can demonstrate a firm commitment to accessibility and the successful implementation of initiatives that are improving the experience of travellers with visible and/or hidden accessibility needs.
Accessible Travel Initiative – Transport
Recognising a transport company – rail, air, road or sea – that can demonstrate a firm commitment to accessibility and the successful implementation of initiatives that are improving the transport experience of travellers with visible and/or hidden accessibility needs.
Accessible Travel Initiative – Cruise
Recognising a cruise line – river or ocean– that can demonstrate a firm commitment to accessibility and the successful implementation of initiatives that are improving the cruise experience of travellers with visible and/or hidden accessibility needs.
Accessible Travel Initiative – Accommodation
Recognising an accommodation provider – hotels, villas, apartments – that can demonstrate a firm commitment to accessibility and the successful implementation of initiatives that are improving the accommodation experience of travellers with visible and/or hidden accessibility needs.
Accessible Travel Marketing Campaign
Recognising a marketing campaign that effectively raises awareness of travel accessibility and/or showcases the work that’s being done by a destination, company or organisation to make travel more inclusive.
Best Website for Accessible Travel
Recognising an organisation in any sector of the travel industry worldwide which has developed a website that is achieving industry-leading standards in accessibility.
Best Tech Innovation for Accessible Travel
Recognising an organisation in any sector of the travel industry which has developed or implemented technology that is having a significant positive impact on travel accessibility.
Outstanding Achievement in Accessible Travel – Travel Agent
Recognising a travel agency, travel agency group, consortia or independent travel agent for outstanding achievement in accessible travel.
Outstanding Achievement in Accessible Travel – Tour Operator
Recognising a tour operator worldwide for outstanding achievement in accessible travel.
Travel Accessibility Champion
Recognising an individual working in any sector of the travel industry who is championing accessible travel and raising awareness of the issues facing travellers with accessibility needs.
Outstanding Contribution to Accessible Travel
Open to an individual, team or organisation in any sector of the travel industry who has made an outstanding contribution to improving travel accessibility.
