Seven UK agents joined an adventure-filled global St. Kitts Tourism Authority fam, from November 18-22, 2025. Over the course of the five-day trip they enjoyed stays at Royal St. Kitts Hotel and KOI Resort St. Kitts, as well as site tours of St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort, Park Hyatt St. Kitts and Timothy Beach Resort.

Highlights of the trip included a dune buggy tour along the Atlantic coastline, off-roading through cane fields and into the mountainous terrain, a guided rainforest walk and a rum tasting experience with Old Road Rum set against the stunning backdrop of the historic Wingfield Estate.

Agents also took part in a visit to Brimstone Hill Fortress, followed by lunch at the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s new restaurant, 1762 Gibraltar Gastrolounge, where they enjoyed delicious dishes in a sky-high setting surrounded by panoramic mountain and ocean views, topped off by a farewell dinner at the Carambola Beach Club.

“During my first visit to St. Kitts on the Fam trip I was touched by the island’s diversity and the warmth and positivity of the Kittitians. There is plenty of choice in regards to accommodation, interests and dining to suit all tastes,” said Sarah Jane Ingle, Travel Designers.

“The island is steeped in history and well-informed guides are readily available for tours around the Unesco heritage site Brimstone Hill Fortress, the Hamilton trail and the charming Manor Estates, gardens and old sugar plantations.”

She continued: “Customers seeking action and adventure can embark on hikes, jeep safaris, zip wires, walks through the rain forest, rounds of golf on picturesque courses or sailing aboard small boats or impressive catamarans.  The more laid-back guest can partake in rum tastings at the Caribbean’s oldest rum distillery, Old Road Rum; try batik crafting; share in ancient cacao ceremonies or enjoy a scenic train ride.

“There are stunning hotels and spas, sandy beaches, swaying palms and plenty of restaurant choices from laid back beach bars to fine dining establishments.

“English speaking and a good climate– what’s not to love?”

Also commenting on the fam, Sheila Sparkes, Travel Counsellors, said: “My first impressions of St. Kitts were that it felt like a very safe and ‘visitor friendly’ island. There’s a range of hotel styles, from larger resorts to boutique properties so it’s important to match the client to the accommodation that’s best suited to their needs and personal preference. It’s a very green and pretty island which surprised me as my expectation, having not visited before, was that it would be more arid, similar to some of its neighbours.

“I feel St. Kitts is best sold as a multi-centre trip with either Nevis as the obvious pairing, or Antigua, taking advantage of the flight routing with British Airways which allows for breaking the journey on the same ticket.”

Samantha Tower, Kuoni, added: “What I loved most about St. Kitts was the people and the amazing food. I hadn’t visited before, so I was really surprised by just how many restaurants and food outlets there are. I’d definitely sell it as a great twin-centre option in the Caribbean, or even paired with New York.

“My top tips for other agents selling St. Kitts is to suggest it as a twin-centre and reassure clients that there’s loads of choice when it comes to eating out.”
