Singapore Airlines ramps up flight frequency

Singapore Airlines will increase services during the summer 2024 operating season. 

This includes restoring services between Singapore and Frankfurt, deploying services to Cairns and Male, reinstating direct services between Singapore and Barcelona, and increasing flight frequencies to pre-pandemic levels across multiple points.

Destinations that will reach or exceed pre-pandemic levels of flight frequencies include: Ahmedabad, Beijing and Shanghai, Copenhagen, Da Nang, Darwin, Melbourne, and Perth , Dubai, Tokyo-Haneda, and Seattle and Houston.

JoAnn Tan, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said: “With the release of SIA’s Northern Summer schedules, our customers can plan ahead and start to make their travel plans for 2024.”

in other news, customers travelling from Heathrow Terminal 2 are now able to get their luggage collected from their doorstep for easy and fast check-in with Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) new partner, AirPortr.

The service is available to passengers who live within the M25 perimeter. This limit will be extended to encompass locations further afield after the summer period.

Prices currently start from £28 for one bag pickup from central London or £33 for two.
