Sail Croatia reports 50% booking growth

The largest spike in bookings has been for Explorer Cruises, which have increased by over 130%

Sail Croatia has reported a near-50% increase in UK bookings for 2023, compared to the same period in 2019. The demand has been seen across the majority of the small ship operator’s itineraries and sailing options.

The largest spike in bookings has been for Explorer Cruises, which have increased by over 130%. The sailings are aimed at travellers in their 20s and 30s as well as the ‘young at heart’.

Elegance Cruises, the line’s luxury sailings, have had a 44% uplift, while Cycling Cruises are up 35%.

Sail Croatia has over 430 small ship departures available next year, from April through to October. A low deposit offer is currently available, which allows passengers to secure their 2023 cruise for £50.

Grant Seuren, Sail Croatia Director, said: “We’ve seen fantastic interest from the UK for our 2023 cruises. There is clear pent-up demand from the past few years, with travellers booking earlier than ever before to secure their preferred ships, deck level and itineraries.

“Our luxury and active sailings are proving particularly popular. And because we offer something for all age ranges and every personality, we anticipate this trend is only going to continue.”
