Riviera Travel enhances sales commissions

Riviera Travel is enhancing its sales commissions for 2025.

Riviera Travel will now pay commissions on previously exempt elements from January 1, 2025. These include additional upgrades and other ancillary add-ons.

Commission will now be available on all sole occupancy supplements, room upgrades, flight upgrades and extras such as personalising holiday experiences, extra baggage, pre-booked seats and priority boarding.

The shift follows feedback from the Riviera Agent Engagement Committee. It is supported by the current peaks campaign where agents receive a £30 voucher for every booking made from January 1 to February 28, 2025. The voucher amount doubles for themed river cruise bookings, too.

There will also be a weekly prize draw where all bookings during this period are entered to potentially win £1,000 preloaded Mastercard credit.

Vicky Billing, Head of Sales at Riviera Travel, said: “Travel agents play a pivotal role in the success of Riviera bookings. Their expertise in promoting Riviera’s unique product and incentives helps drive bookings and boosts revenue and as such it’s important we recognise their importance.

“I’m delighted that our new incentives mean our agents can earn more, aligning perfectly with our commitment to being a team that genuinely cares about the people we work with. It’s important to us to ensure we continue to support and reward our valued travel agents. “
