Visitors to Los Angeles this summer can take advantage of cut-price deals at some of the city’s top restaurants.

The return of Summer Dine LA Restaurant Week, which runs from Friday July 25 to Friday August 8, will see nearly 450 restaurants – the highest number of participants since the programme began – across 88 neighbourhoods and 33 global cuisines.

The scheme by Los Angeles Tourism invites diners to explore the city’s ever-evolving restaurant landscape at a variety of price points – prix-fixe menus range from $15 to $65 and above.

For an elevated experience, diners can book a table at LA’s first ever three MICHELIN-starred restaurants. In June, Hollywood’s Somni and Hollywood’s Providence became the first in the city’s history to receive three MICHELIN stars. Restaurant Ki in Little Tokyo and Mori Nozomi in West LA also earned their first stars.

LA County has more than 180 Michelin-recognised restaurants, 32 of which are participating in Dine LA Restaurant Week.

Among the 80 new additions to the summer programme is Soban, a Koreatown family-owned local institution; Koast, a newly opened concept from Chef Kevin Meehan; and Neighbors & Friends, a female-owned, community-driven cafe in Old Town Pasadena.

“Dine LA is more than just a celebration of LA’s food, it’s a moment to support the chefs, restaurateurs and teams who continue to shape the city’s culinary culture,” said Stacey Sun, Executive Director of Dine LA.

“Restaurants across Los Angeles have shown incredible resilience in recent years, and this programme offers a meaningful way for locals and visitors alike to show up, dine out,and rediscover what makes our dining scene so special.”
