Radisson Blu adds championship golf course

Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa in Mauritius has enhanced the guest experience with the addition of a championship golf course.

The new 9-hole par-3 course at Azuri Ocean & Golf Village offers golfers of all skill levels an “exciting, enjoyable and demanding test of golf”.

Its signature 9th hole replicates the famous 17th hole at Florida’s TPS Sawgrass course, and the clubhouse – family-friendly, with a 50-seat bistro-style restaurant – has added another social hub to the resort.

Guests staying at Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa are entitled to complimentary green fees daily and guests staying at the adult-only sister hotel, Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa also have preferential access to the golf course and The Nine BistroPub as part of the ‘Blu Passport Concept’.

New for the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette is a snorkelling trail created in partnership with NGO Reef Conservation. The trail is about 300 meters long with markers every six meters that uncover seagrass beds, corals and a fauna. Visitors can also spot turtles that regularly come to lay eggs on the beach.

Speaking at the Unite Indian Ocean & Middle East event in London, Patrick Lan, Key Account Director, said: “Our Radisson properties are sophisticated, stylish and authentically Mauritian. They are perfect for luxury clients and our new golf course adds another selling hook for agents.”
