Friday September 5 is National Travel Agent Day and to celebrate P&O Cruises is giving agents double Shine points and the chance to win a holiday.
To show its appreciation to the trade, between September 5 and 8 agents can win two holidays: one for themselves and a guest and another for a fellow travel agent of their choice.
To enter, agents just need to tag a colleague they think has shone this year in one of P&O Cruises’ National Travel Agent Day social media posts, explaining why they deserve to win.
Both the nominator and their nominee will then be entered into the prize draw.
Each winner will receive a seven-night holiday for two, sailing on a round-trip departing from Southampton and staying in a balcony cabin. That could be a journey to Northern Europe, the Norwegian fjords or Spain and Portugal.
The nominated colleague doesn’t need to work for the same agency but must be a member of the Shine Rewards Club to claim the prize.
Winning agents do not have to go on the same cruise as the person they nominated.
Agents booking and spinning a Select Price holiday between the same dates will also earn double Shine points that can be redeemed towards a P&O Cruises holiday or exchanged for high street vouchers.
On the day itself, the P&O Cruises sales team, Chief Commercial Officer Stuart Allison and Ruth Venn, Associate Vice-President, Sales and Distribution, will be on the road visiting agents, homeworkers, head offices and call centres to deliver hampers and vouchers.
