The poll asked 2,088 UK residents to vote for the top travel destinations and activities they would like to experience during their lifetime. Travelling on the world-famous Orient Express was the second most popular experience, followed by a safari in the heart of Africa.
Journeying along the USA’s renowned Route 66 was voted in fourth position, while taking a train through Canada’s Rocky Mountains completed the top five.
