Norse Atlantic Airways is to introduce a new direct route between London and Bangkok this winter.

The service from Gatwick will launch on Sunday, October 26, with flights operating up to four times weekly, with return fares starting from £295 including taxes.

Gatwick is Norse Atlantic’s UK home and a strategic hub for the airline, with daily flights to destinations across the Atlantic and to South Africa, and now to Asia.

The introduction of this service marks a significant expansion of the airline’s operations in the UK market, said Bjørn Tore Larsen, Chief Executive Officer at Norse Atlantic Airways.

He added: “We’re excited to launch direct flights between Gatwick and Bangkok, a top choice among our travellers.

“This addition not only strengthens our network between Asia but also builds on existing routes from Gatwick to destinations across the Atlantic and South Africa. For us it’s all about offering more travel options at great prices without compromising on comfort and service for those looking to enjoy a beautiful and warm winter sunshine destination.”

The airline operates a fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which seat 338 passengers in Premium and Economy Class, to destinations that include New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Bangkok, Cape Town, Oslo, Athens, London, Berlin, Rome, and Paris.
