Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched a new transatlantic tour taking in three of the USA’s most popular cities: New York, Philadelphia and Washington DC, before ending at Niagara Falls.
The nine-day New York, Washington DC & Niagara Falls tour starts with a two-night stay in the ‘Big Apple’ with an optional guided tour including an opportunity to travel to the top of the Rockefeller Centre for views over the Manhattan skyline.
On day three the tour transfers to Philadelphia, where guests will learn about the colourful story of America’s birth, before moving on to Arlington and Washington DC. Highlights here include an optional excursion to see Capitol Hill, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the White House.
Day five sees the tour visit the town of Gettysburg, with a stop at the Gettysburg National Military Park, before reaching Niagara Falls on day six, a city that spans the U.S.-Canadian border.
On day eight, there is an optional helicopter flight (with a price surplus) over the falls in the morning before heading to Toronto to conclude the tour.
Prices start from £2,444pp, including all accommodation, return flights to New York and from Toronto, activities, coach travel and transfers, with departures from May 2024.
