Newmarket Holidays has introduced a new tour to the heart of Spain.
The eight-day tour explores the historic cities of Madrid, Toledo and Salamanca. It focuses on UNESCO World Heritage Sites that showcase the region’s rich history, culture and landscapes.
Travellers can enjoy guided city tours, visits to the lesser-known and Roman-influenced cities of Segovia and Avila, and El Escorial Monastery, a symbol of the Spanish Golden Age and the former home of Spanish medieval kings.
Toledo is known as The City of Three Cultures, while Salamanca is famed for its golden sandstone architecture.
The itinerary includes a stop in the city of Alcalá de Henares, with an overnight stay in a 17th century parador.
Departures are from September to October 2025 from Edinburgh, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester.
Prices start from £1,530pp with hotels, seven breakfasts, one dinner, tours and transfers included. Travellers can save £269 until March 13.
