Forward bookings for 2023 for the popular Egyptian tour have also already exceeded those for 2019 and Newmarket Holidays is predicting bumper sales for the year ahead.
Starting in Cairo, with included excursions to the Great Pyramids and Cairo’s Egyptian Museum, the escorted tour continues on to Luxor where guests board a traditional river cruise along the River Nile, with visits to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Horus, and the Aswan High Dam along the way.
The 11-day Cairo, Luxor and Nile Cruise escorted tour includes three-nights bed and breakfast accommodation at the 5-star Hilton Pyramids Golf Hotel; seven-nights full board accommodation aboard a Nile River Cruise vessel; return flights to Cairo; internal flights; coach travel and transfers; and the services of an experienced tour manager.
Customers also have the option to enhance their itinerary further with an optional excursion to the Great Pyramids at night for a Sound and Light show as well as optional visits to Alexandria and Abu Simbel.
Richard Forde, Head of Retail Sales said: “This holiday really ticks all the boxes. The fact that it is a tour and cruise combined, with so much included, demonstrates really great value and therefore makes it an easier sell for travel agents. Plus it flies from seven regional airports, including Aberdeen, Manchester, Belfast and Edinburgh, so it really has nationwide appeal.”
The operator has also upgraded its agent-dedicated website with new features and improvements to make accessibility to its products easier. Among the upgrades is the introduction of a centralised location for all agent-based downloadable product materials; the optimisation of the generation of documents; the simplification of document downloads; and aesthetic upgrades and customisations, among others.
