New winter romance package at Historic Reesor Ranch

The Historic Reesor Ranch in Saskatchewan is offering a new winter package, the Reesor Ranch Cowboy Comfort Romance Package.

Available from November 30 to April 30, the Reesor Ranch Cowboy Comfort Romance Package includes:

  • Two nights’ accommodations for two in one of the cozy cabins – Cowboy’s Cabin and Bunkhouse
  • Breakfast for two
  • A customized gift basket
  • A bottle of Cypress Hills Winery wine
  • Access to a kitchenette for preparing extra meals and BBQ on the deck
  • One complimentary bag of firewood for the evening campfire
  • Free use of snowshoes

Also included is a free view of the starry night sky of one of the world’s largest Dark Sky Night Preserves.

Other winter activities include wildlife viewing, sledding, snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing and guided ATV tours through the Cypress Hills. Furthermore, less than a 40 minute drive away is Hidden Valley Ski Hill and its downhill slopes.

The Historic Reesor Ranch has been owned by the Reesor family since 1904. It is the only ranch in Saskatchewan that is designated a Heritage Property. Guests of this working guest ranch are transported to the world of cowboys and times long ago.

In summer, the ranch offers guided horseback rides in the scenic Cypress Hills in southwestern Saskatchewan as well as a variety of other programmes related to horses and cowboy life. Guests can join the day programmes or spend the night.
