Shearings has introduced tours based at hotels in Southend-on-Sea, Kingston-Upon-Hull and Darlington.

The coach touring company has added 38 UK holidays to its 2023 programme , which brings the total number of UK breaks on offer to over 100 for 2023.

The new five or eight-day tours either feature new destinations, have a new itinerary, a new hotel, or have new attractions added.

The Isle of Skye, Tobermory, Rochester and Blandford Forum are new excursion destinations. The trip to the Isle of Skye features on a Scottish Highlands tour, with a full day excursion to Scotland’s second largest island.

It’s also a first appearance for the picture-postcard town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, featured on a tour based in Oban, Scotland’s favourite West Highland resort.

Blandford Forum is a new optional excursion on the Weymouth, Subtropical Abbotsbury and Dorset Charms tour, whilst time to explore Rochester is included on the new destination, Southend-on-Sea, itinerary.

Completely new attractions include an excursion to Brighton’s i360 with its views across to the Isle of Wight; a ‘Call The Midwife’ tour visiting Chatham, where scenes from the popular TV show were filmed; and an excursion to the huge aquarium, The Deep in Hull.

Other attractions featured in the excursion programme for the first time are York Minster, Buckingham Palace, a trip to the ‘The Enchanted Forest’ sound and light show in Scotland’s Faskally Woods, and a vintage cruise and cream team on the famous Dorset Queen.

All tours include coach travel with local joining points, specially chosen accommodation, breakfast, dinner and excursions, with prices starting at £239pp for a short break.
