Community-focused La Fiermontina Ocean will open its doors this June, located on the north-west coast of Morocco.
The resort will aim to support local rural communities through important community development projects.
All guests will be welcomed by a Guest Ambassador who will help coordinate their stay and arrange activities and excursions to help them connect with authentic Morocco.
One initiative is a community development project conceived by Fouad Giacomo Filali and carried out in partnership with the Orient-Occident Foundation and local authorities.
The project’s goal is to improve people’s living conditions in neighbouring villages like Dchier, Mezgalef and Tcharouah, which are lacking in resources and at risk of being abandoned due to migration to urban settlements.
Alongside emergency interventions, the project also provides education, training and support, as well as promoting the creation of women’s and farming cooperatives, creating sustainable farming initiatives and the development of a form of tourism based on social economy.
Guests will stay in one and two-bedroom suites and three-bedroom villas, all of which feature large panoramic windows and ocean-facing terraces with large private infinity pools.
Guests also have the option of experiencing a unique stay in one of the four stone houses built using ancestral techniques in the small village of Dchier, 800 metres from the entrance to the hotel.
