Visitors can stay at the luxury Laugarás Lagoon which is available to book from August 15 onwards. Situated along the banks of the Hvítá River in the village of Laugarás, the area is known for its lush greenery, geothermal activity, and local farms. The two-storey geothermal experience will feature two saunas – one dry, one wet.

Those on a tighter budget, can book a package with Jet2 staying at the three-star-plus star Fosshotel Lind. Three nights room only, departing from London Stansted on November 2, 2025 is priced from £639pp, based on two sharing.
