Fans of Strictly Come Dancing will have the chance to dance at sea with head judge Shirley Ballas next year, as the ballroom star hosts a themed sailing aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Virtuosa.
Ballas, widely known as the “Queen of Latin”, will headline a seven-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departing Southampton on May 9, 2026.
Passengers will attend a dance masterclass to learn tips and techniques from the ballroom expert; take part in a Q&A session with Ballas, where she will share behind-the-scenes stories from her time on the hit BBC show; enjoy a meet-and-greet and even perform in a talent show with Ballas acting as head judge.
All activities will be complimentary and available to book on board on a first-come, first-served basis.
The itinerary includes calls at Sandnes (Stavanger), Haugesund and Kristiansand, giving guests the opportunity to explore Norway’s colourful coastal towns and dramatic fjord landscapes while enjoying MSC Cruises’ onboard entertainment, dining and spa facilities.
Antonio Paradiso, Vice President of International Sales, said: “It’s fantastic to have Shirley Ballas on MSC Virtuosa. She brings such great energy, style and sparkle, which is exactly what we love to see at sea.”
Ballas said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining MSC Cruises for some world-class cruising, stunning scenery and a bit of added sparkle on board. Remember…it’s never too early to book a cruise with Shirley.”
Prices for the seven-night cruise start from £599pp.
