Mercury Holidays has a new limited-time promotion offering savings of £400 per couple on its escorted tours to India.

The sale is now live and runs until Monday February 9, 2026, with savings available on all India escorted tours departing in both 2026 and 2027.

Among the tours included in the offer is Mercury Holidays’ new Bengal and Hooghly Ganges River Cruise, an 11-day itinerary exploring life along the Hooghly River.

Highlights include visits to Kolkata’s historic flower market and traditional potters’ quarter, terracotta temple art in Kalna and Guptipara, and opportunities to meet textile weavers in Nabadwip. The journey takes place aboard a boutique river cruise ship featuring a panoramic sundeck, with prices during the sale starting from £2,799pp.

The promotion also covers some of Mercury Holidays’ best-selling itineraries, including the 10-day Essence of North India and the 17-day Grand Tour of North India. Both tours feature rickshaw rides past iconic landmarks and time in Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’. Sale prices start from £1,299pp and £2,299pp respectively.

Travellers keen on rail journeys can also take advantage of savings on the 16-day Wonders of South India, which features a journey on the UNESCO-recognised Nilgiri Mountain Railway and is priced from £2,099pp.

Chris Armond, Chief Marketing Officer at Mercury Holidays, said: “India continues to be our best-selling destination for Escorted Tours, popular with both first-time travellers and repeat customers. We’re always looking to help our trusted agent partners and this promotional offer is a great opportunity to secure bookings at a great value.”

Agents can access the offer by quoting TOUR200 at the time of booking, either online or via the Mercury Holidays call centre.
