Lufthansa responds to Oktoberfest demand

Lufthansa has announced a series of special flights to Munich for the city’s annual Oktoberfest.

Special services to Munich from London Stansted will launch for those wanting to visit the largest public festival in the world, which will take place this year from September 16 to 3 October 3.

From September 15 to October 1, 11 services will be available with fares starting from £124pp return.

“Lufthansa is responding to this local demand by offering special nonstop flights to reach the Bavarian capital quickly and easily” says Heinrich Lange, Senior Director Sales Northern Europe Lufthansa Airlines.

Catering to alpine skiing enthusiasts, Lufthansa will also offer routes to Salzburg, Austria, and Friedrichshafen from December 2023. 

Heathrow to Salzburg flights will depart and return on Saturdays and Sundays and Heathrow to Friedrichshafen will depart and return on Saturdays. Direct flights from select international airports will operate between December 16 2023 until March 30 2024.
