Los Cabos raises awareness with new campaign

Los Cabos Tourism Board is running a new communications campaign to raise awareness of the Mexican destination to a UK audience.

The campaign will educate UK travellers on the LGBTQI+ friendly destination’s key pillars – wellness, gastronomy, sustainability and adventure.

Located in the state of Baja California Sur, Los Cabos is Mexico’s fastest growing destination and has welcomed more than two million travellers so far in 2023 alone, which is 16% more holiday makers than in 2022.

In the first quarter of 2023, Los Cabos – including San José del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas – reported a 187% increase in travellers from the UK compared to the same period in 2022 (January to June).

Managing Director of Los Cabos Tourism Board, Rodrigo Esponda, said: “The UK is an incredibly important market for Los Cabos and we believe 2023 is going to be an historical year for British tourism to our destination.

“We are committed to working towards becoming the most sustainable destination possible. With offerings ranging from wellness and adventure to gastronomy and luxury experiences, Los Cabos has much to offer the discerning UK traveller.”
