Leger Holidays has launched its new Battlefield Tours – Walk in the Footsteps of Heroes brochure for 2026/27, featuring 10 new WW1 and WW2 tours, with prices starting from £429pp for a four-day itinerary.

Each tour is led by a specialist battlefield guide and is designed to provide historical insight while visiting significant sites, memorials and museums connected to both wars.

Among the new tours is a five-day Anzio, Monte Cassino & San Pietro – Italian Campaign by Air itinerary, priced from £1,029pp, which includes flights to Rome followed by escorted coach touring. The itinerary features visits to key war museums and cemeteries as well as the preserved battlefield site at San Pietro Infine.

The operator has also introduced a five-day Menin Gate Centenary tour, priced from £519pp, marking the 100th anniversary of the memorial at Menin Gate Memorial in Ypres. The itinerary includes visits to major battlefields across Flanders and the chance to take part in local centenary events.

Two new Mini-Cruise and Tour options have also been added: the Siegfried Line and Battle of the Bulge Mini-Cruise and WW2 Arnhem and Rhineland Mini-Cruise and Tour. Both combine overnight sailings from Newcastle upon Tyne to IJmuiden in the North Holland region with escorted coach touring.

The cruise element includes a cabin, buffet dinner and breakfast, plus access to onboard entertainment and facilities.
