With a limited run of 14 weeks, ‘Tutankhamun The Immersive Experience’ will take place at Immerse LDN Excel Waterfront.
Travellers can discover the life and legacy of the famous Egyptian pharaoh through a blend of science, technology and history.
Highlights include detailed reconstructions of the tomb and how it was uncovered by the archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922, as well as interactive technology that enables travellers to investigate the tomb as it was originally found and learn about the daily life, religious practices and burial customs of ancient Egypt.
There is also the chance to see the ‘world’s first’ holographic presentation of Tutankhamun’s mummification process and the rituals and mysteries surrounding it.
New Tutankhamun London packages are available on June 15 and June 29, priced from £149pp for two. This includes return coach travel from selected pick up points around England, one night’s B&B accommodation, a timed admission ticket to the experience and free time in London for shopping and sightseeing.
Claire Dutton, Trade Sales Manager at Just Go! Holidays, said: “This new exhibition uses technology like never before to bring the story of the Boy King to life. In the past, when anything to do with Tutankhamun has visited the UK, our breaks have sold exceptionally well and I expect this new immersive experience to do the same.
“Customers will also enjoy free time in London so they can really make the most of their time away. With such a limited run, agents need to react quickly to get the message out to their customers before it is too late.”
