Just Go! Holidays has added two new breaks to its Rail & Steam themed breaks programme for 2025.
Plus, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the modern railway, Just Go! Holidays will hold a temporary gathering of trains and rail exhibits at Railway 200 – The Greatest Gathering in August.
The gathering will be hosted at Alstom’s historic Derby Litchurch Lane Works, which will be open to the public for the first time in 50 years.
There will be over 50 iconic locomotives from the past, present and future, such as the LNER Class A4 Sir Nigel Gresley, Merchant Navy Class British India Line and Class 50 Defiance and the 2024-built Class 720 Aventra.
Clients can experience rides along the Derby’s test track, entertainment, miniature trains in operation, fairground attractions, street food and live music.
Two or three-day breaks include return coach travel from selected pickup points around England and Wales, one or two-night’s half-board accommodation and full day at The Greatest Gathering with transfers from the hotel to the Derby Litchurch Lane Works.
Departures are August 1, 2025 starting from £169pp and £259pp consecutively.
